Role Overview

As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day hotel operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience while driving operational excellence and financial performance. You will work closely with department leaders to maintain brand standards, develop high-performing teams, and achieve property goals.

What You'll Do

• Overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast Operations, and Guest Services.
• Driving guest satisfaction and service excellence throughout the hotel.
• Leading, coaching, and developing department managers and associates.
• Ensuring compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Monitoring labor, productivity, and operational performance metrics.
• Addressing guest concerns and implementing solutions to enhance the guest experience.
• Managing departmental expenses and supporting budget and profitability objectives.
• Building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Partnering with Human Resources on recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives.
• Serving as a key member of the hotel's leadership team.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hotel leadership experience as a Director of Operations, Assistant General Manager, or equivalent role.
• Marriott experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Financial acumen with experience managing labor and operational expenses.
• A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
