Job Description:
As an Accounting Clerk with a focus on the hotel sector, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions and records of our properties. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance in our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documents according to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support financial audits and implement recommended changes.
- Handle cash management activities and ensure proper accounting of all financial transactions.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk, specifically within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
