Breakfast Attendant (Hotel- Restaurant)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel team. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for ensuring guests have an excellent and satisfying breakfast experience. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and well-stocked breakfast area, and ensure a pleasant environment for all our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly and professionally, providing friendly and efficient service during breakfast hours.
- Set up and arrange the breakfast buffet before guests arrive, ensuring all food and beverages are presented attractively and are well-stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, promptly addressing spills or debris to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Monitor food and beverage supplies, replenishing as needed to ensure availability throughout breakfast service.
- Assist guests with any special dietary needs or requests and provide information about breakfast offerings.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of breakfast items and request supplies as needed.
- Perform closing duties, including cleaning equipment, supplies, and areas, and preparing for the next day’s service.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hotel policies to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Handle guest feedback or inquiries with professionalism, escalating issues to management as necessary.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service or food service experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Physical Requirements: 

- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle food safely.
